Job Applications

If you apply for a position with us and therefore submit your application information, we will process the data you provide in order to determine whether we can enter into an employment relationship with you. The legal basis for this processing is, in particular, Section 26(1) of the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) (decision regarding the establishment of an employment relationship), Article 6(1)(a) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (your consent), and Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR. If your application contains information regarding special categories of personal data, such as health data, religious beliefs, or ethnic origin, Section 26(3) of the BDSG and Article 9(2)(b) and (h) of the GDPR serve as the legal basis for this processing. The purpose of processing your application data is to determine whether or not we can offer you a position. In this context, your data will be disclosed exclusively to the relevant persons within the company (recipients) who are responsible for hiring decisions, typically the relevant HR managers and the executive management. Should we become aware of other positions for which you might be suitable based on your qualifications, we may forward your application data, but only after you have given us your prior consent to do so.We use your contact information solely to communicate with you during the application process, in particular to keep you informed about the status of your application. We use other information in your application exclusively for the purpose of making a decision regarding employment. If you have given us your consent as part of your application, you may revoke it at any time. You also have the option to object to the processing of your personal data at any time. In particular, you are free to withdraw your application. We do not store your application documents for longer than 3 months. Should we wish to retain your application documents for a longer period, we will not do so without your prior consent, which we will obtain separately in such a case.
